Crash & Burn - A Battlefield clan - Dark screen when driving tank in BC2

Zansor 9 posts	Hi guys I have just gotten windows 7 64bit and Installed BC2 but when i drive the tank i get a very dark screen so its impossible to see if any stands in there. its only in the tank all is ok in the bradly or the the russian tank. I have installed the latest drivers for my grafic card and when i had win XP 32bit it didn´t had any problems running BC2 grafics. AngelFire 1517 posts	under XP you also ran BC2 with directX 9. Where with win 7 you can run directX10 or 11 depending on your grafic card. Have yopu remembred to update directx for win7? I force min BC2 to directX 11 and dosen't have any problems. You can try to play a bit with the diffrent directX versions by setting it manually in settings.ini default dx version are set to auto by forcing a specific version can sometime help certain issues. look for this in settings.ini DxVersion=auto you can change betweek 9, 10 and 11 don't know if your gfx card support 11. settings.ini can be found in BFBC2 folder under your documents. there probally isn't a setting in the BC2 config files I haven't played with have even fixed the yaw axis in air. AngelFire 1517 posts	yes it might can but xp can't run other than directX 9, where vista is borned with directX 10 and win 7 with 11. But it might be worth a try to set it to 10 to see if the problem still occurs since auto can cause some problems that dissapears when forcing it to 10.
